A lifelong golf enthusiast, Jackson had the privilege of growing up playing golf amidst the scenic mountains of western North Carolina. He earned his degree in Mass Media Communication from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Jackson previously served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) from 2018 to 2020, and rejoined the organization in January 2025. In his role, he is responsible for developing marketing partnerships and executing communication strategies to promote amateur golf across the Carolinas. Additionally, he serves as the Executive Editor of Carolina Golf Magazine.
Jackson and his wife, Laura, are raising three junior golfers in Southern Pines, N.C.—twins Ruby and McRae and their little brother Henrik who was born in Pinehurst.
